Conflict Dynamics Profile
Conflicts are inevitable, even when we do our best to avoid them - differences of opinion cannot always be sidestepped. But this doesn’t mean that conflicts should be regarded as something negative in general. Conflicts can definitely be used productively in order to gain insight into new points of view or methods of resolution. This concept is the basic idea of the Conflict Dynamics Profile (CDP).
The CDP serves to limit the conflict with regards to time, space and content in order to, among other things
- Improve self-awareness,
- Get to know one’s own conflict stimuli and
- Become familiar with one’s own reaction to conflicts
